Midnight Sun Summit Tour

Description

The Midnight Sun Tour is one thing you will never forget. We start by going on our Snowcat from meeting point A up to about 1000 meter elevation. From there we hike up the remaining 400-meter elevation to Snæfellsjökull glacier’s summit while the sun is going down. We’ll enjoy the beautiful and short-lived sunset on the summit before heading down just as the sun is beginning to rise again. This is relatively difficult hike in snow even though it’s only 400-meter elevation gain. Depending on conditions we may use snowshoes or crampons to assist us with this hike.
